These apple cinnamon steel cut oats are a healthy way to start your day!
  • 1 cup steel cut oats
  • 2 tablespoons freshly ground flaxseed
  • 1 large apple, peeled and diced
  • 2 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 4 cups water
  1. Place all the ingredients in a slow cooker.
  2. Combine well and cook on low for 7-8 hours until creamy.
  3. Enjoy with chopped nuts or dried or fresh fruit.
