Slow Cooker Apple Cinnamon Steel Cut Oats

- 1 cup steel cut oats
- 2 tablespoons freshly ground flaxseed
- 1 large apple, peeled and diced
- 2 tablespoon maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 4 cups water
- Place all the ingredients in a slow cooker.
- Combine well and cook on low for 7-8 hours until creamy.
- Enjoy with chopped nuts or dried or fresh fruit.
