When you have food allergies or intolerance with wheat or dairy, it’s makes baking so frustrating. I love baking, and let me tell you how difficult is was to let my butter go. Dealing with this myself, I have found some favorites I want to share with you to make your dairy free and gluten-free baking a lot easier. Options are available now more than ever. These are my top picks!
Bob’s Red Mill Gluten Free Baking Flour
I’ve tried other brands, but I always go back to Bob’s for all my baking needs. It’s important to understand that you can get a different outcome from using another brands. Each brand has their own unique combination. You can use all-purpose gluten-free flour and add your xanthan gum, but I prefer the premixed.
Earth Balance is my margarine of choice! I love it, and I love their baking sticks! They even have a soy free version.

I adore these pie crusts! They are free from the top 8 major allergens! Gluten free pie crust mixes are available, but I would much rather buy a quality product from my freezer section. I love the quality of these pie crusts.
MI-DEL Gluten Free Graham Style Crusts
These pie crusts are also a hit! It’s so difficult to even find gluten and dairy free graham crackers. I love MI-DEL’s Gluten Free Ginger Snaps too! These don’t disappoint either!

Enjoy Life Food Chocolate Chips and Chunks
Enjoy Life has the best allergen friendly chocolate chips on the market. They are widely available and make it into all my chocolate goodies. Chocolate is one of those things dairy free people have to watch, because most contain milk. I can always trust Enjoy Life to be free of the top 8 major allergens.

Clabber Girl Gluten Free Double Acting Baking Powder
Not all baking powder is the same. Some use wheat, corn, or potato starches, so be sure to check the label before purchasing.
